Who we are

ASTER D&C was founded by a Korean-American woman who brings a unique blend of architectural training and comprehensive field experience to the construction industry. After earning her degree in architecture, she worked in multiple capacities across the industry—including as an assistant architect, project manager, and estimator. Through these roles, she was deeply involved in the design and documentation process, project coordination, cost analysis, and client communication.

Her on-the-ground experience revealed a consistent gap: many general contractors and subcontractors lacked access to specialized support for managing project documentation, preparing bids, and maintaining regulatory compliance—especially when it came to meeting MBE/WBE participation goals.

With a passion for precision, structure, and equitable collaboration, she established ASTER D&C as a certified MBE/WBE firm. Her vision is to provide streamlined, accurate, and compliant documentation support to help project teams succeed in public and private sector work. Today, ASTER D&C continues to bridge technical knowledge and diversity initiatives, offering reliable services that empower construction teams through every phase of the project lifecycle.
